On price-per-word
vs. price-per-line
On the german market you
sometime
hear price-per-line referred to as "the european standard"
using a standardised measure of 55 characters per line.
In real life there are not many
norm-lines of the german kind, and that standard is
practically unknown in the rest of Europe, where we all follow
the international standard of price-per-word, which, by the
way, also happens to be the only standard allowing a quick
check of the volume in most file-formats.
If in any doubt, simply send us
the file and we will tell you right away what the wordcount
is, and what the price will be.
We will not make any comments on
pricing based on time or pages or similar... :-)
