On Technical Knowhow

We are aiming at a very high level of technical knowhow in order to ensure the quality of our technical translations, and we take strong pride in the fact that we, on occasion, even point out errors of a technical nature in the documentation sent to us for translation.

Worst case was a manual for high-tech industrial equipment with an error that would have caused a major explosion and several lives if the original text was followed...
At the same time, we are equally aware of the responsibility placed on us, as an error in our work could have a similar dramatic effect.

Fortunately, most documentation is in perfect order, but everybody can see the idea in having technical documentation translated by people who actually know what they are writing about :-)
